Great to see this forum is back!

When RadioInfoBoards suddenly vanished, it was so sad because those of us who were regulars were kind of like a little online family with the same unique interest.

During the time this place was gone, I registered in another forum but it was not that busy and hardly the same.

In fact without this place to share DXing stories with, I've hardly DXed at all this winter and almost thought I was losing interest because there's no place else to share such things with where others can relate.

Until I found this place a few years ago, I thought I was virtually alone in my DXing interest and finding DX and Reception gave me a big start into rediscovering my old interest with more of a passion.

I hope all our regulars got the same email that I did the other day of the board coming back to life and I hope to see you all soon.

Glad to have the board back and great to "see" you, too, Gar. My feelings are pretty much the same as yours. I definitely missed the content as well as the rest of the group that gathers here regularly. Hope this finds everyone safe, happy, and well. I look forward to reconnecting and sharing DX experiences with the gang. But first....a big shout out "THANKS" for those responsible for bringing the board back!

I think most of us agree, the posters on this forum are an online family. No one, I mean no one I know shares my interest in DX, and I never bring the subject up in polite company. Ha.

It was a while back but I recall posting my concerns about the forums shutting down exactly like they did in December, but the replies did not support my feelings. Maybe someone should log everyone's email addresses. Feel free to P.M. me with your address & I will reply with mine. Why? We can information share.

I'm glad I checked my email when I did and got the notice of the resurrection of our board, otherwise I may have missed it and deleted it by accident because so much mail is junk anymore.

Maybe some of our other regulars deleted the email by mistake and will never know we are back.

Now, I'm hoping our tropo season gets going but the next week doesn't look good at all.

Your tropo season will come soon I'm sure. Here in Northern Illinois we're just hoping that the temps get above freezing & the snow melts by the 4th of July.
