Apparently it has been on the air since the beginning of the year, but last night KJWP channel 2 Wilmington-Philly made its debut on Comcast - New Castle County - Wilmington as a ME TV affiliate. If I understood what has been said in other threads on this new station, they plan to eventually offer some local programming and news. I guess time will tell if that happens, and will the news just be another Philly oriented newscast or a more Wilmington / Delaware focused newscast? Obviously the other commercial Wilmington TV station channel 61 WPPX ION TV doesn't air any local programming or news, so it's not a requirement, but would be nice. I guess the bigger question would be can KJWP make money airing a Delaware focused newscast? For those looking for the Weather Channel on Comcast NCC-Wilmington, it's been moved to channel 55.

KJWP channel 2 ME TV COL Wilmington

ME TV,Ch 470 on FiOS, from WFMZ seems to have been replaced by the weather channel from WFMZ. Perhaps FiOS is getting ready to make the switch to KJWP as well?

MEtv's website says that you can begin viewing KJWP on FIOS on 2 and 502 in Philadelphia beginning 3/14/14. The Allentown ME channel on FIOS is now broadcasting WFMZ weather.

So, I still don't have channels 2 and 502 on FiOS. Why hasn't Verizon picked up KJWP yet but, they carry every other must carry broadcast station? WACP just means an extra click now flipping between channels 3 & 6 both in SD and HD.

METV now says that FIOS carriage of KJWP begins on 3/20/14.

Yes, FiOS channel 480.It's actually 69.4. We're also now getting something called TuffTV on channel 470 (69.2 that used to have MeTV). FiOS also carries the AccuWeather channel on 464 (69.3). They finally fixed MeTV's SD feed on channel 2 from KJWP.
