CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY RADIO, INC. is selling FM translator W228CT/DAYTONA BEACH, FL to SOUTHERN STONE COMMUNICATIONS OF FLORIDA, LLC for $18,000. The translator will rebroadcast Talk WNDB-A/DAYTONA BEACH.

Excellent move on Southern Stone's part. Thank you for sharing.
 
I should note it is a CP for FM Translator W228CT...and it is a very smart move-I've known about it for some time but it is official now...with other things in the works that are a matter of record such as the COL Change for WKRO from Edgewater to Port Orange and the Translator CP for WHOG on W231CN at 94.1 it is going to increase the value of the Daytona Cluster quite a bit.
 
Agreed. Seems like they got a nice addition for not a lot of money.
 
Southern Stone purchase of FM translator. Good move but here's the !!!but with WNDB current sales manager and sales staff it will take Southern Stone (5) years to pay for it .WNDB sales department is putrid horrible lackluster at best

Same with WROD...When I Was there I gave them a Good 60's based gold format they could sell and I've had success with before in this market now they've blown that apart.Only difference is WROD paid $100,000 for their Translator so theirs will take about 30 years to pay for.
