Yes, great news. 10 at 10 was really difficult to listen to under Renee. She had very little feel for putting together a cohesive list that truly captured the feel of a selected year. Nobody was better than Dave Morey, but Annalisa at least gets us back closer to what Dave did.... returning to that moment in time that provides a nice reminiscence....playing the obscure Top 40 hit (that was a hit, but is no longer played), playing the well-know AOR radio hit that no longer gets played, mixing in a still popular song from the period, adding in some commercials, news bites, and including songs that reference something today (someone's passing, a holiday etc.). Finally, if you're doing a year (say take 1975), all 10 songs should be recognizable to an avid music fan from 1975. If not, you're doing it wrong. Also, you need to get the year correct....'I Want To Hold Your Hand' needs to be played for 1964, not 1963 (where it was not played in the U.S.). It takes a lot more effort to put something like that together...but the difference is very noticeable to the listener. Glad Annalisa is back.
