is 95.5 HD2 stilll airing True Oldies----Scott Shannon ? if so, maybe cbs fm does not care. Only
a few humans likely listen to true oldies. (on 95.5 HD2 )

There is also a True Oldies Channel which is currently on Townsquare's WEOK/WALL in Poughkeepsie at 1340 AM and 1390 AM, and it is run by Scott Shannon. He is both the new morning guy at CBS-FM and a DJ on TOC which it carried on a handful of stations elsewhere including WREF in Richfield, CT at 850 AM. I love Scott Shannon very much back in the days of Z100 where he was the first DJ to come on the air in the morning. He does great with his "Z Morning Zoo" show which I used to love so much and he was on other stations including LA's "Pirate Radio", and then returned to NYC at WPLJ where he did "Mojo Radio" for a short time until he start with Scott & Todd and remained until last month when he left to go to CBS-FM, and he did.

at least it's better than an opie and dopie sheep listener posting in ;o)... "See, first I was told to hate scott shannon, without ever really listening to him. But then my boys flip flopped faster than the Price is Right game of the same name, and now I'm supposed to like him? actually, I'm getting kind of tired of them myself ;o). I'm with the opie listeners on that one that their time has finally come to be retired. this latest batch isn't really funny to me anymore.

They weren't funny in the first place. Hell, they were barely funny when the Jerky Boys did them.

Todd is a hack. Scott is in a place where his talent can be utilized much better. They'll both get good ratings and make tons of money, so good for them.

Here is article that I found this week is that Cumulus is dumping Scott Shannon is leaving TOC by the end of June where he focuses on mornings at CBS-FM.

why even bother? they are clearly going for a crowd 30 and under. that terrible song they played a day or so ago at the start of the show would even have been aimed at the 12somethings...
