Which NBC shows would you save?

Considering most are more bad than good, which would be worth saving? So far the only ones to get renewals are Parks & Rec., Grimm, Chicago PD and Chicago Fire.

Hannibal
Dracula
Community
Parks & Recreation
Parenthood
Believe
Crisis
Revolution
Grimm
Chicago PD
Law & Order: SVU
Growing Up Fisher
Chicago Fire
About A Boy
The Blacklist

I haven’t watched About A Boy, but I hear it is good. That would be the only one I would
save. Set the rest on fire and burn baby burn.
My score for NBC 10 out of 100 F

I never miss Revolution. I'd like to see it continue. It's the closest thing to a cable show on network TV. The only downside to it is that it's a continuous story arc, not a collection of free-standing episodes.

First, let the record reaffirm the credibility of this thread's author: The only NBC show he'd 'save' on this list is also the only one he hasn't actually seen. Mmm-hmm.

With that out of the way: If you couldn't find anything enjoyable about The Blacklist or the venerable Parks & Recreation, you should just give up network television viewing for crossword puzzles or encyclopedia reading.

When I remember the Tuesday night slot its on, Chicago Fire hasn't been a waste of an hour--it kinda proves Dick Wolf & Company can do something outside of Law & Order. Chicago PD, though? I'll be nice and say there's a reason Fox's Brooklyn Nine-Nine works as a send-up of the genre.

Revolution has just become "Heroes 2" for me--the story has become so layered, back-storied, and convoluted that I just don't care about the saga as a whole anymore. I survived the way-too-long delay between the first and second half of season one, and I followed its second season move to Wednesdays. I cared once, and I wanted to keep caring. Now I just don't...in the last months it was the hour long show I'd wait for ABC's Modern Family ; now I've got Suburgatory to make that wait shorter.

Remember, on this forum, basing opinions on one's own taste and preferences is frowned upon. Try saying anything positive about songs not played on formatted radio station and you're raked over the coals for not being realistic about the ratings. So, it would be in keeping with the rest of this website to only evaluate programs on how well test audiences react to them, not how one likes them personally.

Law and Order SVU and maybe Chicago PD or Fire. That’s it! Oh, and Dateline: NBC. I’d rather see them revive Seinfeld.

You and Michael Jackson both.

Bring back The Michael J. Fox Show!

I had regretted not including "Believe" at first, but after seeing the most recent episode on OnDemand today, the show has lost its appeal. In just a few episodes it has degenerated into the same formula every week, as the bad guys are closing in on the girl with the mystic powers and her dad (though neither of them know it), the girl stops to help some random stranger in need, and then in the nick of time they manage to escape the trap the bad guys had set.

I stopped enjoying that formula after The Fugitive and The Incredible Hulk.

I thought I had posted here.

I'm just listing the shows I like personally, although some others may be worth saving too.

Parenthood
Growing Up Fisher
About A Boy
The Michael J. Fox Show

I've seen clips. To begin with, I can't stand Amy Poehler. The show just doesn't look appealing.

Although I seem to recall a very funny cameo by Fred Armisen. I've only recently begun watching Saturday Night Live, and he was one of the best people on that.

Heist. I never saw the end of that, if it was aired.

As for the drama "Heist", when that show existed several years ago, IIRC, NBC may have only aired the first episode, and then USA Network aired the other episodes at later dates during the overnight hours. They treated the drama "Conviction" about the same way. With "Conviction", NBC aired the first episode. Then all USA Network did was reair the same episode. They ended up airing more "Heist" episodes than "Conviction" episodes, and in a time slot that no one usually watches TV. When both those shows existed, I liked "Conviction" more than I did "Heist". I never really liked "Heist". What I liked about "Conviction" was that actress Stephanie March was on the show. Of course, Stephanie March is known as ADA (Assistant District Attorney) Alex Cabot on "Law & Order: SVU". Now, "Conviction" didn't die a quick death. The other episodes would actually go to air on the Cloo Network back when they were known as the Sleuth Network. I never saw those other episodes. But I think I remember the TV listings from several years ago. I could be wrong about the TV listings. Anyway, that is all.
