Subtle,...As A...Flying Malet!

As a Radio Programmer, I have granted more airplay to KISS records, than anyone else in the Southeast United States. Every record added, via song merrit alone.
I was never offered one penny of Payola, and would have refused it, if so.

KISS is an Iconic American Roock Band, worthy of respect. However, I can't stop laughing along with Gene & Paul, about the "Alleged" Rock & Roll Hall. I agree with Paul,...it's not a Hall...at All!

The "Hall" is allegedly owned & ran by Rolling Stone Magazine,....and that should, for most of us Broadcasters,....explains it all.

Paul, was out doing TV interviews to pimp his new book, and each time was asked about the upcoming induction. He flat tells them all The Truth, and I couldn't agree more. Surf Youtube.....and watch them all. Popcorn not supplied!

The "A"-ness has Spouted:

Once again, TheBigA, His Royal "A"-ness has blessed us with his comments, that make about as much sense, as a screen door on a submarine.

However, there is still light, as we all Celebrate 40-years of KISS!

Gene & Paul telling the World the truth about the alleged "Hall of Fame", and indirectly pointing out....as I completely agree,....what a rag Rolling Stone is!

Maybe the "A"-ness can get a job as a journalist there. He qualifies: Defends Hip-Hop/Rap, doesn't believe that major bands can have a second life, doesn't think that Payola exists today, and believes that Will Ferral is funny.

They don't have to go. It's not required. The fact that they're in and so many others are not is a travesty.

I don't think I've said any of those things. Bands can have a second life...just not on the radio. The Beatles with a new lead singer would not be The Beatles. And I don't know who "Will Ferral" is.

KISS is no more than an amped-up version of the New York Dolls. #yeahisaidit

A Little South of The Apple, but Still Don't Get It:

If you don't Kare for KISS, then I understand, but here you ain't gettin' the truth.
Much like LUGER, The New York Dolls were a thick thread in the midst of the New York Glam/Punk scene. They got signed to a major label, but they couldn't reach that second level, which is headling; thanks to TV exposure, and Airplay.

They missed the Melodic train, that was to eventually morph into "New Wave"; by 1976.

I too am a Dolls fan then, and I like the new line-up, as well. Back then, if the Visas hadn't ran out on Slade, there wouldn't had a "KISS". "The Sweet" was also limited to their number of days in the States.

No,...KISS can't be denied. They broke the thin, and bent the thick to get to their level,...and all Nattering Naybobs of Naysaying, just fall by the wayside.

I heard KISS last night on "House of Hair" and, while I forget the song, it was amazingly wimpy considering their image, and the image of the show.

I turned on the radio just in time to hear Dee Snider say the words "Seek and Destroy" but did not hear the song.

V-Monkey,...Underwhelming us all,...as Usual.

Get in line when is comes to making neg toward KISS. It is the punishment for being Massively Successful, and though aware of it, Gene & Paul sweat not. KISS has always been a partnership, with others hired as employees. Gene & Paul are each worth over $300-Million each. There are only 4-to-5 more bands worth equal or more.

Dee Snider has a Brilliant Syndi-show, "The House Of Hair", and it too...has lasted longer than skeptics, with your mind set....Thunk Possible. In Radio & TV we refered to your wicker basket of kind....as The Safe & Visionless.

Steve Perry,....was briliant, and did sing. However, now to us Journalist, he is last known for writing most of an Awwwww-ful Journey album, entitled "Trial By Fire", and being fired by the band's owner, Neal Schon, for refusing to tour, in support thereof.
With help from Jonathan Cain, Neal allowed Steve to put his poems to music, and fill the LP full of it,....and thus,...your Pudding. Neal allowed Steve to hang himself.

Maybe a hind leg shot from that horse....to the twig & Perries...can get him to sing again.
