KTVK 10pm New Change

Well, it seems that they've paired Brandon Lee with Carey Pena at 10pm. Fields now reports from the newsroom on a couple of top stories during the newscast.

I'm not home to watch GEAZ. Did they make any changes on those newscasts?

I was in AZ for the past week and I just don't understand what KTVK is thinking. It has become boring and very impersonal. I know changes needed to be made, Patti just didn't cut it anymore, but I no longer find myself watching. The quirkiness is what caught my attention before....it was different and placed a little humor on an otherwise depressing newscast. The newscasters now are boring and some of their voices are like nails on a chalkboard. The GMAZ team is not the same either. The fun times are long gone...the road trips are history and it is generic just like the other stations. Some of anchors appear to "try too hard" and Gina speaks so fast that my head spins when her report is complete. I miss the old days and I am not "old"....it was just light hearted fun to watch while getting ready in the morning.

In answer to your post Formeraa....I don't really care who they pair Carey Pena up with....I no longer watch the pm news casts. Too many constant changes and not enough light hearted stories to bring a smile to my day....just depressing news and I can get that from another channel with more watchable anchors.
