Nielsen's monthly out today shows significant cume boost (300,000+) for WOR at just under 1 million, WABC's cume continues to drop at 685,000 (35,000-). ABC still has the higher SHARE 2.2 (down from 2.4) WOR 1.7 (up from 1.5)

It's interesting...talk radio can be a big cume builder, but play-by-play sports can be huge. And usually attracts great demos. I know a lot of talk fans will hate it when day games pre-empt their favorite talker. But this is a great move for this station.
 
But----- why the delay in hiring a morning host at WOR ?
will they give the show to Hilarie Barsky ? has anyone else been
rumored to be under consideration ?
