Casie Kasem here in Kitsap County...

Since he has dementia, I wonder if he might have wandered up here in a conversion van with a large dog thinking he was Shaggy and because there's lots of food AND legal pot up here....

Well since Casey Kasem has/is Native American -heritage and there are 2 federally recognized tribes in Kitsap County (Suquamish Tribe & Skokomish Tribe) the later located on/off HWY 101 take a guess which one he's at.

I intentionally left the word "Reservation" out.
This is not the place to explain why!

Casey Kasem's heritage is middle eastern. (Syria or Lebanon, I don't remember which one.)

KFI reported that the wife was looking for a place with an airstrip big enough to land a small plane.

Palestinian and Lebanese ancestry!!! Kemal Amin Kasem/Detroit, Michigan!

Not only is this well known it's radio 101 knowledge. Another fact is he has a website dedicated to famous Arab Americans. (How did I forget this?)

My bad! Listening to my great grandma, hmm she must have ate that darn peyote, and she loves to tell stories of the past.
Anyways explaining that to her is like well, teaching an old dog new tricks @ 93 she believe what she believes and I believe everything she tells me.

My apologies, this was an epic fail.
But my guess on his location? yes I believe.

To willing to jump on the PC bandwagon without doing a little research?

The door is open take you best shot, PC bandwagon? With 90 post since '08 I think it's an all out parade! "My motive'? Post some inaccurate info to start an discussion, works for a certain news channel. but most know this was not the case, just stupidity

Sarcasm aside who really cares about Casey Kasem's demise? Certainly not the radio/entertainment industry. I will acknowledge CNN for keeping the story alive. Barely! We are losing history, a pioneer, a trend setter. I believe he made radio what it is today, especially for Shadoe Stevens & Ryan Seacrest. Nearly every musician, singer and most stations of his era owes most of their success to Casey Kasem and his radio shows. He's an Icon an American treasure, a standard that every DJ' radio personality' in America tries to imitate or rise to his standards. I think there should be an all out media blitz about this.
Done whining!

OK here's some research for you, although has nothing to with my original post.

Ah...just in case you didn't notice, there are more than one cable 'news' channels that create their own news. There's the four legged dog like beast and the other channel related to the Windows operating system maker and Brian Williams.

"Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars." Casey Kasem

"That's the letter U and the numeral 2. The four man band features Adam Clayton on bass, Larry Mullen on drums, Dave Evans, nicknamed "The Edge" on- this is bullshit! Nobody cares! These guys are from England and who gives a shit?! It's a lot of wasted names that don't mean diddly-shit!"

"OK, I want a goddamn concerted effort to come out of a record that isn't a ****ing uptempo record every time I do a goddamn death dedication! It's the god-last goddamn time, I want somebody to use his ****ing brain to not come out of a goddamn record that is, uh, that's, that's uptempo and I gotta talk about a ****ing dog dying!"

"This is American Top Forty, right here on the radio station you grew up with, Music Radio 138, Oh ****!"

-Casey Kasem

Actually, Lebanese Druze ancestry, American born in Michigan...Detroit if I am not mistaken.

"Keep reaching for the stars," Casey. Here is today's sad news from TMZ:

Legendary DJ Casey Kasem will live out his final days this week surrounded by his children who have made the decision to withhold medication, food and fluids. The judge in Casey's conservatorship case just reversed a ruling which required doctors to keep him alive with nourishment and meds. The 82-year-old is currently in a Washington hospice facility. Casey's kids tell TMZ their dad's health directive document states, "If the extension of my life would result in mere biological existence, devoid of cognitive function, with no reasonable hope for normal functioning, then I do not desire any form of life-sustaining procedures, including nutrition and hydration." Casey's wife Jean was in court and furious over the judge's decision, storming out and screaming that the kids will have Casey's blood on their hands.

Very sorry to hear about Casey. What a legend in radio. His American Top 40 reruns will live on for decades to come! (Unless KJR turns into the greatest hits of the 2010s...)

He is probably receiving medication that will keep him comfortable. Hospice facilities do not generally want any pain or suffering whatsoever.

The sad reality is it probably will eventually, but I wouldn't count on it for at least 10 if not 20 if not 30 years.
