He was a good sports broadcaster Fred, and he's now retired. Personally, I think his career in the booth justifies this honor, but opinions can, and do, vary. I hope Dierdorf and Brandstatter make a good team this fall.
 
Well, maybe sports broadcasters should stick to sports.

I'd include Mitch in that, too.

Oh, grow up! What does the fact that you don't agree with his politics have to do with his sports career? In addition to being idiotic and rabid, are you sure he isn't also racist, homophobic and a soldier in the War on Women? Like I said, grow up!
