Where'd Sundance channel go on Directv ?

Nothing on either the DirecTV or Sundance websites about dropping the channel, no discussion on the satellite boards, no news media reports.

I suggest you call DirecTV customer support.

Maybe it's the Independent Film Channel.....whatever used to be on 549. They showed The 3 Stooges on Saturday mornings.

I'm at work, not at home, but according to my DirecTV app, Sundance is still on 557. Perhaps you were experiencing some temporary glitch.

You do know that you can use Smart Search to search for Channels, too, right? I have a hard time remembering channel numbers, so I often just use SS for that purpose.

Yep, I checked after your post when I was able to get home and it's still there and on 557.

Yes, IFC was part of a week-long preview of DirecTV's highest non-premium tier the last week of May. It also included channels such as Bio, H2, VH1 Classic, and Logo.

I believe Sundance is only available to subscribers with Showtime. But it has been so long since I last had the channel, I may be wrong.

I have it (and to be honest with you, I was surprised I did when I checked to see where it was on their lineup), and I have the "Ultimate" package.

Yes it was IFC somehow they got wiped out of my station list??? channel 564
