93.9 MyFM looks to be for real!
At least in ages 6+, the numbers have been very healthy so far this year. For those who don't regularly listen to the station, they've made further changes to the playlist since first becoming "MyFM." The 80's categories have pretty much been removed completely. They're playing more songs from the 90's, including some stuff that i-101 used to play. They aren't afraid to play rhythmic pop recurrents, either.
The playlist isn't as current driven as WTMX, but tempo wise the two stations look pretty similar.
In the latest numbers, MyFM is tied with Kiss and has inched ahead of B96. Pretty impressive stuff. Would be curious to know how they are trending in demo.
WLS-FM posted big gains in 6+. What's up with that? Are they picking up listeners at the expense of sister station WLUP?
101.1 FM posted its best overall AQH share in probably the last decade, or close to it. Nice to see! (Why couldn't Emmis figure it out?)
