Jackson Energy Authority cable in Jackson, TN has CBS from three sources: WBBJ 7.3 in Jackson, WREG 3 in Memphis, and WTVF 5 in Nashville. I didn’t realize it until I checked their lineup that they had dropped WSMV in Nashville, so WTVF is the only Nashville station still on JEA cable and considering that WBBJ has CBS on 7.3 I’m surprised that they haven’t pushed to get WTVF dropped.

Fidelity in Rolla MO (St. Louis DMA), has 3 CBS affiliate (KRCG, KMOV, KOLR), 2 NBC affiliates (KSDK, KYTV), but 1 ABC (KSPR) and Fox (KTVI) affiliate, all available in SD

only the default affiliate for the DMA is carried in HD (1 per network) on these, don't know how syndex is enforced on these systems,

in the Kansas City area, Comcast and Time Warner carry 2 PBS stations (KTWU, KCPT) on the Kansas side but they only carry KCPT on the Missouri side, KTWU is not carried by Uverse, Google Fiber, or the dishes and only KCPT is available in HD on the Kansas side

Comcast in Earle AR (Memphis DMA) (a "cursed" system, BTW) carries three ABC affiliates:
WATN Memphis (Channel 6)
KAIT Jonesboro (Channel 7)
KATV Little Rock (Channel 19)

In fact, it carries all three Jonesboro-licensed stations (the other two are KVTJ - Channel 16 and KTEJ - Channel 18).

KAIT and KATV were carried on Comcast's "not cursed" West Memphis system, but were dropped a few years ago (Syndex?). West Memphis still has KTEJ on Channel 151.

Falls City has KOLN in HD instead of KMTV; Rolla has KSPR in HD instead of KDNL (which isn't carried at all).

Is it just me or are independent cable providers more likely to carry multiple affiliates of one network in HD than major cable providers?

Ludington, MI, as late as 1997, carried three FOX affiliates and three ABC affiliates.

This system also serves Weimar in Colorado County (Houston DMA). For MNT they get KTXH instead of KBVO, and for Univision they get KXLN instead of KAKW.

Another strange thing: Luling, 50 miles closer to San Antonio along I-10 than Schulenburg, carries no San Antonio stations at all.
