Well,....Spotify is now free, and one can listen to....for free....almost everything ever pressed. Oh,....and I don't mind if they Peek real hard, and write it down, as an addition,....to sum wod of research, that they will sell, at a later date. Pencilneck Consultants, behold the hairy monster that can, and will Pee on all of your Auditorium Music Tests. No harm done there,....as they were about as accurate as Taylor Swift shootin' skeets!

Yeah,....for they last few days, I've been all over the thing: Gary Clark, Jr.....Deep Purple,.....Fanny(all girl),.....and one of the Best new bands on this Planet;
VINTAGE TROUBLE! They are a rollin' sack of fury!

AC Programmers,...pay close attention! You play "Tainted Love", but Soft Cell's follow-up,...."What?".....is a catchier tune. Go listen!

Yes,....as I continue to surf this reportedly.....Shhhhhhh secret research tool......Spotify! I suggest you download it, as it is now FREE; wonder why?

My favorite Jersey band is Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes. One of the Best Live bands to ever shoe/boot the stage. However, I have never had the chance to see them Live. They get zero airplay here in the GSP market(that is...since I retired!). Programmers, and/or Pencilneck Consultants just don't get it!

Wake-up! Here's your Classic Rock add for this week: "Better Days"! That's a (written by)Steve Van Zandt song, and every Word is true!

Is Spotify....a secret research tool,.....mapping which cuts we are listening to, and the repeat?....Freeeee-quincy thereof! Hmmmmmmmmmmm?????
So, here let me add this. Apparently, not everything is available for your listening pleasure. It's more like what is still in print, and/or available for download.
I do have an interest to see what the interests are.....especially, the clicks, regarding The Beatles catalog.

In addition to my grocery store having a better playlist than Eny-thang Entercom, this new (it's free now)Spotify download is more fun than pelting your neighbor's nervous little chaw-wee-wee dog with a handful of snapdragons. His destination was unconfirmed, but the journey was afoot!

You can listen to most anything....eh, that's in print. I was all over the extensive KANSAS list. Early Ike & Tina,....and empty your bladder, before you give a listen to Little Roger & The Goosebumps,..."Stairway To Gilligan".

Scooter - Good Catch. Been Quite a Few Decades since I heard Little Roger & The Goosebumps --- what other Obscure Songs are you holding out on us for now?!? :)

-Steve.

Well,...in addition to above mentioned,...you'll have to visit Youtube for this one, as there are several versions/recordings of the same idea. However, the one I recommend is recorded by Damaskas, Barnes & Barnes. The lead vocal here actually sounds like John Lennon. Make sure that your bladder is empty, when you give a listen to "A Day In The Life Of Green Acres".

Well that one was good for laughs for sure. Not quite as good as Stairway but definitely ranks up there. Steve.

"Spoti-surferz".....A couple of rare ones I "foundt" (southern term) on the Spot: Recently, Eric Carmen was asked by his label Arista, to help upgrade his Greatest Hits package. All tracks are now Remastered, and the title is: "The Essential Eric Carmen. The gem here is track #1, "Get The Message" by Eric's pre-Rasperries band CYRUS ERIE in 1969. Our mutual friend, and author, Ken Sharp, might-aaaaaaa had something to do with that addition.

Also, one of my favorite male vocalists, Benny Mardones, with his Orbison cover,...."Running Scared",.....and (yeah, it sounds 50ish) a 1972 track, entitled
"Please Say You Want Me",....Mardones when recorded under the name "Troy".
