MyNetworkTV 2014-15 Lineup

MNTV is a SYNDICATED service, not a network. Wouldn't be surprised if this network goes off the air in the next couple of years. It's Ion, except it's a different name and only 10 hours a week.

They even call themselves My NETWORK tv. And you just called it "this network" above. If all MNTV outlets are showing the same prime time programming nationwide then for all sense and purposes it's a network.

some MNTV affiliates pre-empt the primetime lineup for sports sometimes

at least ION and CW have original (if narrowly targeted) programming, and WB and UPN that MNTV replaced on many stations had original programming, MNTV is just cheap filler, Must Ignore TV

But that's more a legacy of the failed telenovela format than anything else. Increasingly MNTV's affiliates are running the programming that MNTV supplies them at different times.

Many have even dropped the MNTV branding, why don't these cheap stations try original scripted local programming like Almost Live?

My Network TV does not program Sunday nights.

Again, this network provides primetime programming for stations with an even split in advertising inventory. The cost is low, ratings are decent and stations seem happy with it. There is no need for original programming. They have tried that and failed.
