Largest market without a full-power Spanish station

So, which markets can't get DishNet or DirecTV? As I said earlier, if you can get either of those two satellite nets, you can get all the Spanish jibber-jabber you want.

plenty of areas in Minneapolis (apartment complexes) that cant get satellite
the old apartment complex i lived in signed a death deal with crapcast years ago

You remind me of a local rightwing gasbag who rants about how the US should be English-only, then invites his audience to stay tuned for three hours of polka music in Polish and German. Yur in Amurrica now, BOY...talk Polish!

I realize that isolated little places, like apartment buildings, might not be able to get satellite service. But the question was if there are MARKETS (you know, entire cities, not just a single building here and there) who cannot get either of the two satellite services.

Any market can receive satellite. This thread is about markets that don't have a full-power OTA Spanish station.

The next largest market is #15 Minneapolis-St. Paul. The only non-religious Spanish network available OTA is Univision via a low-power station still broadcasting in analog. This is the last remaining analog station in the Twin Cities, but is expected to convert to digital, and subsequently offer a much larger coverage area, fairly soon.

According to RabbitEars, WUMN-LD is on the air.

More on WUMN-LD from NorthPine.com:

The last analog TV signal in the Twin Cities has left the air: Univision affiliate WUMN-LP has vacated its longtime analog home on channel 13 in favor of digital facilities on channel 17. WUMN-LD uses 15kW, the maximum allowed to low-power TV stations, from the Campbell Mithun Tower in downtown Minneapolis, delivering a signal to the full metro area. The station is owned by Media Vista Minneapolis. Channel 17 was formerly occupied by PBS station KTCI, which now broadcasts on RF channel 23 and remaps to 2.3 but is still carried on DirecTV and DISH Network channel 17.

West Palm Beach's only Spanish station is low-power Azteca affiliate WWHB-CA, which is analog only but is carried on a subchannel of co-owned WTVX. Miami's WSCV (Telemundo) is carried on Comcast in SD and HD.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't WSCV only available in southern Palm Beach County?

It (WSCV) is carried across the whole county, and as far north as Vero Beach!

That's the entire TV market! Then again, Comcast owns the cable system and WSCV. Are the Miami commercial spots cleared or does Comcast replace with market-specific spots?

I think the Miami commercials are aired. There may be an FCC rule saying OTA signals have to be carried without alteration or modification.

Looks like the Twin Cities are getting another Spanish station, this one a Telemundo affiliate. From Northpine.com:

DTV America Corp. plans to launch a Telemundo affiliate in Minneapolis. DTV America is buying low-power station K43HB-D from Ventana Television for $125,000, and a graphic on DTV America's website is touting the Telemundo launch. K43HB-D transmits from the IDS Center with 15kW.
