2 Southern NH stations pick up Ordway

Prob should put in northern New Eng but his show comes out of Boston (er, use the 7 sec delay...?)

>>Starting Monday there will be NO excuse for not listening to @BigShowUNF. We will be available on Terrestrial radio ESPNNH 900/1250 AM, XM206/Sirius220, by downloading the app. for iphone/ipad or Android and online at sportstalkboston.com!

I love all these internet people who start out telling anyone that will listen that "the future of radio is on this (holds iphone)," and then months later are clamoring to get back on the radio. Like the Boston Herald, who just got on WUFC AM- after a year of bashing WRKO and "Ancient Modulation"-

Will he change the name of the show to The Big Show Filtered ?

Going back to WEEI would have been a better choice for him.

Maybe the opinions can still be "unfiltered" but the board op(s) better watch for the "spit", "puck", and "bassmole"
words (if you know what I mean) --hit that button...

Because it was his choice to NOT go to WEEI? Seriously, do you people even understand how anything works?

When Howie picked up WCAP (pre-empted him for hockey yesterday) it meant Ordway/Big Show was gone. Apparently Ordway is also gone from 900 and 1250 in New Hampshire; their site says Jim Censabella and on 1/1 it sounded like they had ESPN talk instead. (I do note the sched page says "as of 12/1/13" so maybe not up to date?) So Ordway had announced 3 terrestrial affiliates but now all 3 are gone (he had hinted there would be more, too). Meanwhile the Herald had hinted Ordway might return to WEEI, and certain contracts there expire next month. Could just be
idle chatter or maybe a possibility.
As the paper's Fee would put it, "Do stay tuned..."

You have said a mouthful!

Anyone who does have a smartphone and uses it to stream "radio" all day or at least in the car has freakin' rocks in his/her head.

There's an anecdote I once read about an engineer at the great WLS, Chicago who said: "When the end of the world comes, it will be AM radio that covers it."

Per Isaac Hayes: "Damn right!"

With all its homogenized programming / voice tracking, FM has now become the wasteland that AM radio once was.
