WGBH-FM Boston Public Radioi- Margery Egan & Jim Braude. Extended Programming Hours

As of Monday, September 22 Jim and Margery's Boston Public Radio programming on WGBH-FM 89.9 now runs from 11 AM - 2 PM.

A breath of fresh air in a broadcast dial full of dead air.
 
That's great news - The Takeaway is a terrible Americanization of a pretty good British show. The host is one of the worst interviewers I've ever heard.
 
Actually, BPR replaced the Diane Rhem show. She is off because of her spasmotic voice problem. Good show if you can get past her voice problems. Hope she comes back.

I absolutely agree. Today's Pro Monsanto " takeaway" with a with a very frustrated Activist should be the last straw.
It seems that the Koch Brothers have influenced the programmers with their large donations. They are a big fan of Nova
Put Christopher Lydon on after Morning edition, and before BPR

Really?! The reason why Diane Rehm was dropped was because of her "spasmodic voice" is this GBH's official reason? I come out here for news, but the rumors are rampant

No, Diane has been out for a few weeks long before BPR extended J & M.
