Is Lady B is moving to Boom 107.9 or somewhere?

I hope so. She would be a better fit at BOOM, as she made her name in Philly radio doing hip-hop shows on local AM & FM stations. I never liked her on WRNB because of her association with songs she dissed when she was a "rap only" deejay. Also, when WRNB experimented with no jocks, the ratings in her slot went up, but went back down when she was brought back, showing the disconnect between her base and what the listeners want.

As for going back to WDAS, if she did, she would probably replace her sister, Mimi Brown, but I can't see Lady B leaving a FT job for a PT weekend slot, and Patti Jackson's sorority sister, doing afternoon drive, isn't going anywhere until her contract is up.

who's lady b?

Lady B is a local rapper, [the first female rapper to release a single on, I believe, WMOT], who gained her local fame doing a hip-hop show on, I believe, WHAT-AM, later to do shows on WDAS-FM &/or WUSL. Since I'm not a rap fan, especially in it's early years, i'm not sure if she was on both stations, but I know she left AM for FM in the mid 80's.
