Pat whitley to retire from restaurant show???

O

Last Sunday Pat Whitley announced on his restaurant show - now called "Wicked Bites" on WRKO to tune in next Sunday morning for a special announcement concerning him. Wonder if he is going to announce that he is retiring? Think Pat is into his mid 70's now. His son Scott Whitley already does the show many times. He sounds just like his father, Pat.

Interesting; I haven't heard the show for years but did hear some promos on WRKO done by Scott. Maybe he will and will turn it over to Scott. For a time I think Pat
did the show from his N. Andover home (and he had an office over at Cummings Center in Beverly--Whits Media). Gary Leavitt formerly of WMWM Salem has helped
on the show before.

"We're all going to get on a big bus and go to the No Name Restaurant where the mayor can't get you for parking because it is free. Marvelous! You'll enjoy. Why? It's fantastic, that's why; take the whole family, the check is not going to kill your budget. The No Name-- oddis onnoma"--Jerry Williams

Sometimes announcements like these are
"we're sponsoring a cruise!" On Michael
Graham's show when he was here he said
tune in at a certain time to hear of a big
announcement having to do with him.
New station? New time? Naw, it was that
he was getting married.

Did a quick lookup and as far as I know she isn't; she did battle cancer some years ago and does related charity work but I don't think she's in one from what I can tell.
