Cancelled shows

It doesn't matter if the critics like it, If no one is watching Selfi, ABC going to can it, I hate the tren selfi, The song and the show

IMO - the Big 4 could really steal the cable networks' thunder if they did this, but they insist upon producing the same type of one hour dramas over and over again every year. "Friday Night Lights" was able to get nominated for Emmys, and even won one for Kyle Chandler, when Big 4 dramas weren't getting nominations. "Scandal" is also getting nominated. So it's not like they're not trying.

Like I said in the quote you just...er...quoted - "there are exceptions." Over the past decade, I've probably been a fan of a half-dozen dramas on the Big 4. And both basic and premium cable come up with some clunkers, too...Ever see John from Cincinnati? Awful. Ever see Luck? Well written and acted, but as boring as dirt unless you're into horse racing.

As a trend, I believe the cable channels are consistently producing higher quality dramas than the Big 4. As regards my tastes in TV dramas, cable is batting about .750 and the networks .125.

The Big 3 have been historically averse to taking chances. When Fox was the new upstart network, they took some chances, and still do from time to time. And there are examples on the other 3...but not many.
 
I was really sad to hear of the cancellation of "The Millers." I thought it was a really funny show. Obviously news reporter vs laughter doesn't mix in 2014-15.

The song was called "#Selfie." It was by a band called the Chain Smokers, and it was banned by many radio stations last spring.
 
WOW! I am surprised. I thought Queen Latifah had a really good audience. Could Steve Harvey be killing her in the ratings, or Ellen DeGeneres?

It was funny, until they brought in Sean Hayes at which point it jumped the shark.
 
ABC Cancels Midseason Drama ‘Members Only’ Before Premiering

ABC has decided not to move forward on upcoming midseason drama “Members Only,” which had received a 13-episode straight-to-series order last January.

“Members Only” is now the fourth new series to be canceled before premiering, following dramas “Hieroglyph” on Fox and “Emerald City” on NBC and Fox sitcom “Mission Control.”

I didn't like him as much as I expected. However, Rob Owen of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette says he is not to blame. I think he left a word out but apparently he was saying the move to Monday hurt the show.
 
It was obvious they were downplaying Beau Bridges this season. I wonder if he was planning to leave the show, and was being phased out, before CBS just gave up?

I really don't know about RBS's fate at the moment. With "American Idol" coming back next month, it might return on another night other than Wednesday.
