Frank Traynor and Pat Toddy on KYW 1060

Frank Traynor and Pat Toddy are the 2 worst anchors on KYW 1060 for many reasons. they ad-lib too much, they read the news slowly, don't do a good job staying on schedule and airing the various things on time, like traffic, sports, business and the top and bottom of the hour IDs. etc I really wished that Steve Butler, Marc Rayfield and other folks at KYW will finally take these 2 off of the anchor rotation for good. enough is enough. We don't need Elaine Keno type of anchors on the station anymore. Bad anchors hurt the image of KYW and make it sound amateurish.
 
We listeners deserve to hear the best and most experienced news talent that are currently in the business, anchoring our news. Please e-mail KYW newsradio about Frank Traynor and Pat Toddy at [email protected] and [email protected]
we can't have inept talent on the airwaves anchoring our news on a major radio station like KYW.

I think you are right about that Fred. For the most part, the rest of the news anchor talent on 1060 is really good IMO, expect for those 2.
 
my radio stays away from KYW when Traynor and Toddy are anchoring. that's sad. I shouldn't have to do that, being a loyal listener to KYW
 
Pat Toddy one of the best at KYW

Pat Toddy has always been a favorite of mine at KYW. Also, Julius, you used to be a fan of hers; tweeting at her, etc. I think it's clear that Steve and the rest of KYW enjoy Traynor and Toddy on air. Clearly, they know best.

Clearly, Butler realizes how good of anchors Traynor and Toddy are. Unfortunately, unlike you.

Gee, Julius... Nearly 8 years after I've left the station? Is that because I refused to "friend" you on facebook? Whatever you may think of me and my talent, you need to know I rose to the height of my profession in a male dominated business, have won almost every major award for radio journalism, some of them several times over, my work on Sept. 11 is archived in the Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame, and I have the utmost respect from and for my former peers. What have you done lately?
