Ben Parker on Bloomberg 1200

I was listening to Bloomberg 1200 last week and heard Ben Parker doing the local breaks during afternoon drive. Over the weekend I checked the WBZ website and he wasn't listed so it appears as though he left Newsradio 1030. Not sure when he started at Bloomberg 1200. Did he leave WBZ on his own?
 
Bloomberg 1200 is a great station for news and information, and features as well up to the minute market reports.
I worked with Ben at WEIM, now WPKZ, and I wish him success

Well, then, maybe you'd know, since no one else here ever even bothered to answer my query; to wit, is Ben the son of Barry Parker, a newsman on Providence's WPRO-AM 630 from back in the late 60s, early 70s?
