What Boston area radio station(s) are ABC affiliates?...

a) What Boston radio station/s are ABC affiliates?... b) or carry some ABC programming segments?...

The ABC Radio Network was sold to Citadel, was then sold to Cumulus, and then re-packaged under Westwood One. So I'm not sure what you mean when you talk about ABC programming.

ABC News Radio will launch as an independent service in January.

WRKO has some agreement with ABC...and carries their news at the top of the hour evenings after 7PM.

WBZ also carried some ABC programs in the past...like Paul Harvey...and was carrying some ABC features. (They are owned by CBS, so their major affiliation is CBS.)

I sure hope both 'RKO and 'BZ retain their ties to ABC News, as opposed to taking any co-branded CNN feed from Westwood One.

Freakin' dumb move, 'BZ! Like CNN is a better service than ABC News? Sometimes iHateRadio.

From what I've read, the only role CNN has in the new service is providing the news audio. The actual on-air newscasters will be some of the same people who were part of the NBC News Radio service WW1 used to offer. The advantage to BZ is they can customize it to fit their purposes.
