Nights Live with Adam Bomb

Is Nights Live with Adam Bomb still available as a syndicated show? I noticed that the Midwestern Townsquare CHRs that used to be owned by Cumulus are not carrying it as of today. A couple of stations, WZOK Rockford and WJIM Lansing switched to having local night shows a while ago, but the others still ran Bomb and now are in jockless automation at night. Some of them still have Adam Bomb listed on their schedule. And I noticed hat many of the Cumulus CHRs have replaced it with Zach Sang and the Gang.

Hmm that's interesting. I would have thought though that that would have been the first program to go when Townsquare took over. I would have thought they would replace it with Billy Bush. The more interesting thing here is that Cumulus has replaced it on a lot of its own stations.

A CHR here in Erie PA now has nights tracked with Zannie K...

Billy Bush would have been the last thing they would have replaced it with. They weren't necessarily happy with it when Cumulus forced them to dump local shows in favor of it. It was perfect for Hot AC, but too bland for a young CHR audience. Zach Sang and the Gang has been around for a while, about three years or so. Cumulus/Westwood One has been giving it a huge push lately.

You don't think Townsquare would have replaced Nights Live with Billy Bush? I could totally see that given how hard they were pushing Bush a year or so ago. They dumped their local night girl for Bush in Yakima, though what's weird about that station is the last two night jocks they've had have gone to mornings. I'd be really surprised if Zach Sang was being run on KFFM now.

It would be a market by market decision. In some markets, the Townsquare CHR station took Jackson Blue instead of Billy Bush. KKLS Sioux Falls and KRQN Cedar Rapids. The other Townsquare stations that were formerly owned by Cumulus were not required to pick up Bush again. The show probably did not perform as well as hoped the first time around. WZOK Rockford and WJIM Lansing are two stations that eventually went back to a local night show. I don't know if they are live or tracked.

Adam Bomb

Adam's nationally syndicated show has been quietly cancelled. He's back at Q100 in Atlanta, doing a live air shift in the evening. He's also recording canned voicetracks for at least one station, that being Hot AC 96.3 WDVD in Detroit.

Cumulus must be getting scared of Power 96.1 and decided they needed to bring in reinforcements!
