Fox Kids on KPTM 42

I just saw the schedule for KPTM Fox 42 in Omaha in the Nebraska Edition of TV Guide for May 8-14 1999 that I got in the mail today that I bought on ebay, and I saw that KPTM pre-empted all of Fox Kids programming and moving the Fox Kids Saturday Morning block to KXVO WB 15. Also I saw what KPTM 42 was airing on Saturday Morning, and here was their schedule:

KPTM Fox 42 - Saturday May 8th 1999

5:00 AM - AG Day
5:30-8:00 AM - ????
8:00 - Nick News
8:30 - Critter Gitters
9:00-10:30 AM Gerbert
10:30 - Nick News
11:00 - Student Bodies
11:30 - Martha Stuart Living

Why did KPTM Fox 42 pre-empted the Fox Kids Saturday Morning line-up for these piles of garbage. This makes me mad to no extent, they should have aired the entire Fox Kids Saturday Morning lineup all along when they pre-emped it with dumb stupid shows, so that the Lionhearts could have had a better chance of being on KPTM Fox 42, and it's the station I wanted the Lionhearts on because of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show also airing on KPTM Fox 42. If you guys ever want me to have any love for these shows then you better hope for the Lionhearts to air on KPTM Fox 42 or the Super Mario cartoons to air over KXVO CW 15 and for the Super Mario cartoons to air over every station that aired The Lionhearts.

The Lionhearts aired on KXVO CW 15 Saturdays at 6:00 AM back in the Fall 1998 season.

Why did KPTM Fox 42 pre-empted the Fox Kids Saturday Morning line-up for these piles of garbage.

I'm assuming it's because they could make more money by running local or syndicated programming and selling more of the ad time.

It was in 1999 or around there. I have a home-recorded VHS tape with 2 hours of "Beast Machines: Transformers" episodes taped off KXVO-15 in Omaha, received in a lot of TV programming I got from the Omaha area off eBay. That was a Fox Kids show, and aired on KXVO on Saturday mornings, preempted from KPTM.

Oh and by the way, if there was no listing for KPTM between 5:30 and 8AM, it was infomercials. TV Guide did not list infomercials in their listings after 1998.
