What are you guys hearing these days on 1170?
For me in the far northwest suburbs of Chicago, it's splatter from 50kw local WYLL (1160), although IIRC, only about 25kw is aimed at me.
Nights, it's still splatter from WYLL, although their night site is about 50 miles away from me and the night pattern throws almost the whole 50kw in my direction.
If I null WYLL, I can usually get 1kw KJOC from Davenport, IA with a weak signal. KFAQ occasionally surfaces, as does WWVA a little less frequently. Both of those are more common around sunset before going to their night patterns. 1170 is relatively empty here at night by modern standards.
