Mr. Spock, Leonard Nimoy Dies at 83

Wow! RIP to Mr. Spock. What a legend in the Star Trek world. Him and William Shatner "WERE" Star Trek. They influenced Patrick Stewart, and LeVar Burton, and Michael Dorn, and many others to begin and join as actors of the newer and newest Star Trek franchises, and now are following the footsteps of the now late Leonard Nimoy as the new legends in science fiction TV and movies.
Just remember: "Live long and prosper!"

On Sunday ME TV ran old series in which he appeared, i.e. Colombo, The Twilight Zone, The Man From U.N.C.L.E, and so on, as a tribute.

Patrick Stewart had never seen TOS (thus was not influenced by TOS) before TNG was started by Roddenberry and Paramount. He came from Shakespearean acting and a film career (Dune and Excaliber, etc) under the belt.

Did CBS &/or TBBT air, at the very least, a vanity card for him?

Remember his distinctive narration on the series "In Search Of"? A decent series for its day, made much better by Mr. Nimoy's voice. RIP.
