WROR Takes #1.

WBZ AM obviously likes blizzards as much as their FM counterpart likes the Patriots.

Neither sports station sank as much as i would have thought they would.

WJMN made a nice gain.

And finally WUMB makes the Rock of Gibraltar look like a tumbleweed.
Solid as ever.

Wow, good for WROR!!! But you wonder what made the difference. I'm not aware of any significant changes other than dropping Tom Doyle from the morning show. Maybe more people tuned into mornings to see what would happen since then.`

Or more likely, the tight, thoroughly researched playlist combined with bland, unobtrusive hosts has delivered a big at-work audience along with solid numbers from involuntary listening by PPM wearers waiting or doing business in offices, repair shops or retail/dining places where WROR is playing as a safe consensus choice to be background noise. I don't think appreciable numbers of listeners go out of their way to listen to morning shows just to find out who's replacing who.

WXKS is now #4 and #21 WBWL gained a whopping 0.2 overall and a stunning 0.4 increase over rival #22 WCTK!

Just imagine how 101.7 will rocket up the ratings when they increase it to a B1!

such a hater lol seriously if you look at it's not working wxks is going down and wklb has gone up.. personally i like the bull better.

I don't know what other formats iHeart could try on 101.7.Yes they can appeal to some desired listeners and sponsors with hot new country but even with a slightly better signal (Greater is objecting to the move) how well can they do with this, and if it isn't really helping Kiss by _trying_ to hold WKLB back a bit...
The EDM was temporary and apparently
not working..variety hits couldn't do it..try something else?Maybe stay Bull
for awhile but for who knows how long.
Hey Bobby Bones cleared in Boston...
These are general 6 plus or 12 plus, does anyone know the 25-34s...?

Yes, that's EXACTLY what I meant!!

Really pretty remarkable. You knew they felt they were headed in the right direction when they avoided the Xmas programming.
