‘X-Files’ Returning to Fox as Event Series

The X-Files is making a comeback. Fox will revive the science fiction drama as a six-episode event series, with David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson both reprising their roles as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

I'll be watching. I started watching the original sometime in the 3rd season and am more a Monster of the Week guy than Alien Conspiracy Theory guy.

They were, and for a while, it looked like Fox wanted to do another '24' mini-series this year. Kiefer Sutherland wasn't interested, though.

They could do a season of '24' with Tony Almeida attempting to escape prison. As much as I love Jack Bauer, I could accept Tony as the lead. Maybe Jack calls Tony at the end!
