Daytime - Heavy splatter from 810 KYTY. Tuning 2-3 kHz up and nulling KYTY to reduce the splatter allows WBAP to be heard weakly. It's somewhat understandable on my CC-2E and RF-2200.

Nighttime - The splatter is diminished, and WBAP is fairly strong in the null of KYTY. XEBA, La Consentida in Guadalajara, can sometimes be heard in the background and has bubbled up enough for an ID on location. I've also heard another Mexico (presumed) station in the background that I haven't IDed yet.

I have never had any success with KYTY from my West Houston location. WBAP is almost like a local during the day with its massive daytime footprint. It surprises me it would be weak in San Antonio, since it does very well at similar distances in Midland and Lubbock.

It must be my location in NW San Antonio. I'm sure WBAP would be stronger here if KYTY's signal wasn't aimed right at me. WBAP used to be loud and clear before the late '90s, back when 810 used to be unoccupied.
 
I know this thread has been quiet for a few months, but I'd love to know if anyone between Columbus and Dallas has heard WVSG and WBAP fighting it out before WVSG goes directional (and I mean VERY directional) away from WBAP at Dallas sundown. I have heard WVSG at night west and southwest of Columbus before it changes pattern, and it sends a solid signal to western and southwestern Ohio. I am guessing, however, that further out, the two signals clash before WVSG goes away.
