WBZ anti-Hillary promo

The station is running a 2-per hour promo with Dan Ray "betting" that Clinton will not get the nomination.
There is a strong implication that the prohibitive favorite will either be killed or struck down with illness.
Nowhere is it suggested that Clinton will be defeated by a Democratic challenger.

It's a unique idea that certainly plays to the base, but is very unlikely. Good idea for a promo, although not my choice for WBZ.

I doubt many people really care about her one way or the other, much less a promo either way. Who's paying for the time?

Let me guess. You're offended by this.

No surprise. 66 year old Dan Rea was a leader in the ultra Right -Wing YAFA- Young Americans For Freedom - in college. They were an off shoot of The John Birch Society

Why do I think that any & every Conservative...would be described by you as "ultra-right wing"? ;-)

I remember YAF. They were pretty much young mainstream Republicans, IIRC, kind of a novelty on my typically liberal Eastern university campus (and yes, I was one of the liberals) but I never thought of them as young Birchers, Klansmen, or any other sort of extremists.

Ask the Republican State Committee why they acted to remove him as president of his college YR's - Young Republicans.

Boy, you've got something (negative) to say about everyone, don't you?

Is that the only reason you come to this message board? To slam those that you are not fond of? Nothing about radio..but more it's all about you and the folks you dislike.

Please be the bigger man.

Why are you afraid of the truth? Nothing posted is historicallly untrue. Just a snap shot to show you how he got to this point.

I am sorry for your unhappiness. Is the host the subject over the subject matter now?

No. Posting about his YR affiliation while in college has absolutely nothing to do with WBZ or radio.

Of course it does. Do you think if Dan Rea was a member of SDS he would have recorded the same message. BZ knew exactly what it iwas doing.[QOTE=frankberry;6045391]No. Posting about his YR affiliation while in college has absolutely nothing to do with WBZ or radio.[/QUOTE]
