KNHC is searching for a new General Manager...

A friend of mine and some others who have PM'ed me here, was encouraging me to apply since I have a history with the station by creating the original Dance Music Radio format back in the 80's, helping to fend off a KRAB hostile takeover, plus most of the engineering since the station was transmitting 1,000 watts from Wedgewood Elementary. But two things would be a barrier:
1. Taking a substantial pay cut. Not interested.
2. I would have to get used to having a very brown nose around the school district politics. When I worked there part time before, the previous GM took over that part, leaving me to do my job. Without some sort of political buffer, I wouldn't want to put the program in jeopardy.

You would think that with all the armchair quarterbacks who seem to have the answer to it all, someone would have either applied for or gotten this job, the one at KPLU or the one at The End.

I see the official Sea/Tac board criticizer has stepped up to the mic and shown their true colors again.

You're more than welcome to bring up facts to disprove my claims about radio programming here in Seattle.

And to use proper grammar.

Pays pretty well - range according to the posting is $79,486.00 - $109,768.00 Annually!

For a non-com manager in a very large market that seems like a miserable salary given the requirements which include significant fund raising experience. Something starting around a buck fifty would be more inline. Perhaps the looooooow pay explains why the have not named someone.
