Spanish Sports KTRB-A (ESPN DEPORTES 860) is being sold to U.S. INTERNATIONAL RADIO, LLC for $6.5 million. Currently programmed by DEPORTES MEDIA under a five-year LMA. Had high hopes for this move-in when it relocated to the SFO market from the Central Valley ten years ago. It made a meager attempt at all sports, and has been a rather non-entity in the market ever since.

I was going to say they should have stayed in Modesto, but its replacement there on 840 (required as a condition of the move) also went dark for a while and I believe has now also gone Spanish language.
Finally, it would allowed Harry Pappas and his Pappas Telecasting to finally better focus on selling the rest of his remaining assets lost in the receivership in the Pappas Liquidating Trust in March 2012 when Lee W Shubert was the receivership trustee at the time with David L Stapleton as the successful trustee in October 2013 including NTV(KHGI-KWNB)/KFXL FOX Nebraska(KFXL) in Nebraska, KDMI and KCWI in Iowa, WLGA in Georgia, and KAZA in Los Angeles, California to pay down all the debts resulting from the Pappas bankruptcy in May 2008 and the Pappas receivership in March 2012.
It will finally mean that KTRB would no longer be in the hands of receivership trustee Susan L Uecker under control of Commerica Bank who had been the receiver of KTRB 860 AM since September 2010.
Would like all of the remaining assets connected to Harry Pappas and his Pappas Telecasting still currently held by David L Stapleton as part of the Pappas Liquidating Trust be sold off before January 2017 is when the Pappas Liquidating Trust expires on December 31, 2016 at 11:59:59 PM heading into when the clock strikes into midnight on January 1, 2017 at 12:00:00 AM.

Trusts can be, and have been, extended when assets could not be liquidated due to financial market conditions.
