I have always had an open mind, regarding an artist's new recorded product. It always behooves to Tour in support of such, with Tour Money being Big Business. I have also understood the replacement of members, but some scoff at the mere mention. Brad Delp committed suicide, and left Boston founder, Tom Scholz with certainly no choice. When Steve Perry's more than capable replacement, Steve Augeri, was struck with a serious throat ailment, Owner, Neil Schon, hired Jeff Scott Soto to finish the Tour, and later hired Arnell Penedda. The other side of that coin is Eddie Van Halen waiting way...way too late to mend fences, and record a Live piece, with David Lee Roth. That Live album, and all the inclusive TV performances are just Awww-ful. So,...why are Programmers so stingy with airplay for Great Bands, with new singers, then when asked about airplay for the new Live Van Halen album,.....they go into Park!

I didn't think to look at who was in Van Halen on the Billboard awards show. But I thought they dumped Michael Anthony so Wolfie could join the band and I'm sure that was Michael. I didn't recognize anyone else, but I fast-forwarded through what was clearly not "music".

Well,...I can be honest about the facts, that are Breathing today! I'm not going to kick on Van Halen, as we can leave that for mass, in the capable hands of Eddie Trunk. I did say, years ago, that I felt that Eddie Van Halen had forfeited(lost) more opportunities to make Serious Money, than he's actually made. To answer your question, it is the son, Wolfgang, on Bass, as Michael Anthony was fired for hanging, and/or playing Live with Sammy Hagar;....sometime after Sammy was fired, over the phone.

Well, someone sure did look like Michael used to. But I found a picture and Michael doesn't look like he used to.

Well,...No,...the current line-up, and as I just watched the Youtube clip, from the Billboard awards,...is, and has been the son of Valerie Bertinelli, and Edward Van Halen;....Wolfgang Van Halen. Not at first, but the youngster has become a very good Bassist. My general point is, and I am not alone, in stating so, David Lee Roth no longer has the pipes to perform. Eddie waited way too long to do what he is trying to pull-off today. ...and so, this is where I ask why do Programmers deny airplay to heritage bands, that hire new singers, and record...new, quality product: i.e. Journey, The Babys, Foreigner, INXS,...and etc. The New Product, in question, is very good....i.e. FOREIGNER-"When It Comes To Love"....JOURNEY-"After All These Years".
