Reported in today's Boston Globe that WEEI has banned Kirk Minihane from "Dennis and Callahan" for an on-air argument Friday with midday co-host Christian Furia.

Apparently, Minihane attacked Furia's credibility as a sports talk host saying he is only there because he was a former professional football player.

Really? And what is Minihane's?

Perhaps, its time for that whole morning show to change its seven course morning breakfast. A six back and a baked potato just doesn't cut it anymore.
 
that morning show has been on too long not sure why. the competition having the better numbers in the am and being hailed as the best morning show in Boston. weei the ball is in your court!!
 
Most broadcasts connected to WBZ/CBS-Boston are most always a class act which is more than you can say with any broadcast connected to Entercom. Surprised that Christian Fauria is not on 98.5 since they carry the Patriots. Fauria is good on TV - usually with Steve Burton on WBZ TV 4. WEEI is just more tabloid trash like its AM counterpart, WRKO. Kim Carrigan may indicate that WRKO is awakening from deep sleep but I won't count on that morning program lasting long. Predict that Rush " Limp"baugh will soon be back on 'RKO.' KOX is a disaster for Rushbo in the Boston market.

A 3-day weekend in June isn't a punishment, it's a gift.

Apparently neither of you are up to speed, the Minihane version of D&C has the best ratings they've had in a couple of years. Very competitive. The whole station is improving.

You can't call WBZ-FM a class act when they've got clowns like Scott Zolak screaming.
 
Two words that prove clearly that D&C are not a class act and never have been: METCO GORILLA !

I didn't defend D&C, you're changing the subject, as usual. Yep, D&C are trashy. So are 90% of the people on this planet.
