Birmingham Mountain Radio on THREE translators?!

Was just listening to Birmingham Mountain Radio in my car on 97.3 HD2 and heard their legal ID. Now they're IDing for a translator in Northport and one in Tuscaloosa as well. Wow?

so i made a note of it this time -

w248bo - tuscaloosa

walj-hd2 northport

so it appears they're feeding WALJ-HD2 in order to feed W248BO which is a new translator for T-town.

It's on 97.5 in T-Town now apparently.

Nice!

I have to admit, I'm VERY impressed. That was a smart intelligent move....so unusual for radio now-a-days. LOL.
I guess BHAM MTN RADIO now has as good a coverage or better as several larger stations in the area.

pretty sure i had posted the ID as i heard it....ironically it's 11:55 pm, so it should be time for another one. Perhaps they had it wrong initially? We'll see shortly...

walj-hd2 tuscaloosa
