Man, is it dead here now a days. I had missed that the Summer book came out last week.

A few interesting turns of events in this book. WSSL beat WJMZ for the first time in .... well, don't have the history, but a long time (9.6 to 8.6).
B93.7, with its continuing turn to be more rhythmnic, clobbered Hot 98.1 (5.9 to 4.5).
And MY managed to finally squeak out a tiny victory over Magic (3.9 to 3.4), although BOTH stations have really tanked since they routinely were in the 5-6.0 range.
And for my biased statement, X98.5 dropped to a .7 but the signal is sooooo bad over the summer months that I largely expect it to always be their worst ratings period. The Planet continues to flounder in the 3s and I do think some of that is partly attributed to some listeners going to X. However negligible it may be, I think it still is impacting 93.3, which I imagine is still being held up largely by The Rise Guys (a sad testament to some of the listening audience in this area).
