Big Change @ KXTN

Looks like company wide cuts. The morning team on the Beat was apparently cut, too. Ramirez getting cut dropped my jaw, too.
 
Format change perhaps?? Haven't their ratings always been up there?? Or are they seeking newer, younger blood? Reminds me of lisle and hauns exit kind of. They had been on there forever as was Ramirez for KXTN.
 
Xavier's World's gone from 98.5? I grew up with that show.
 
I wonder if the other stations will hire the previous DJ's.
 
Hearing Big Boyee will also be at KXTN. Can't imagine a format change happening there. Despite Tejano's aging demos, that station was still billing a ton not that long ago. I can't imagine it's changed that much.

I agree Kent. No format change is likely at KXTN.

Also, Dana Cortez is the new morning show host at The Beat.

If iheart is able to sign Xavier and sidekick Biggie Paul, this could be huge opportunity for Hot to finally make a good run at The Beat.
