Two things

Ahem, before we warm up the water too much, letʼs keep in mind that this thread was revived yesterday from 2013
For a little perspective, since the most recent post before that, the Sox won the Pennant, the World Series, came in last, and jettisoned their President and GM.

Oh, and we also lost and gained a few talk stations putatively from "Boston".
 
Well, I thought 94.5 was more urban centered so ultimately I didn't think they'd go country; meanwhile another poster had said:

Country 94.5, Jam'n 101.7, folks...well., iHR did go country. Only, not there but in Lynn where I was born and went to high school. There are billboards for 101.7 nr the bridges over the Saugus River (Rt 1-A, Rt 107) and you know, when I think country, I think Lynn. A station licensed to Lynn. Prairies, farms, mountains, swimmin' holes...Lynn is most definitely what I think of when I think country :)

I miss the herds of cows grazing placidly along the Lynnway when West Lynn Creamery had its plant there.
