94.1 is the station in Spanish that is playing the most Christmas songs of them all. They even have a section from 4 to 5 dedicated to play nothing but Christmas music both in Spanish and English

That will be a huge disaster for them.

A major LA Spanish language station tried that perhaps 4 years ago, and nearly dropped out of the book, losing more than two share points during the Christmas music period.

There is very little tradition of playing Christmas music on the radio throughout Latin America with the exception of Puerto Rico.

Interestingly enough, KLAT is also mixing in Christmas music with the new Amor Celestial format.

KLAT has not shown in the last 7 books in Houston. That said, the Contemporary Christian format does have Christmas songs and they are a more natural fit than in any other Spanish language option.

Just to add KAMA and KLOL are also playing some Christmas music not as much as 94.1 but they are also mixing it all day and so is 104.5.
