Traffic Report Joel Alexander_WJR

Good Luck Joel.

I miss that WJR no longer refers to their traffic reports as the Big Seven.

Big 7 - sure sounded like a veiled sexual reference.
"Joel will now bring you the 'Big 7'"

And who is to say there are 7 (not more, not less) important routes in the Metro region?

There used to be page on WJR's website that went over the great history of the station. Included was 'why is the reports called the Big 7?' It had to do with Metro Detroit's freeways and the reports were always in a particular order with the Lodge and Southfield last. Just because there are/could be more important routes the Big 7 was a good place to start.
