WSGE 91.7 Bad Reception In The Charlotte Metro Area

Anyone know what is going on with Eclectic 91.7 WSGE from Gaston County? This Station used to put out a Booming Signal that covered several counties with Static-Free Reception. Today, I had to travel into Center City, Charlotte and I noticed Signal Drop-Offs on Independence Blvd. On Monroe Road, and Wendover, headed back towards Eastway, the Signal actually went out completely several times. This Poor Performance has been going on for most of this year. I was hoping it resolved itself somehow. Does anyone know what is actually going on, and what, if anything, is planned to address this? I used to listen to 91.7 all the way clear into Matthews, N.C.

It did okay for awhile but starting around 2010 they did something to improve the signal. It used to make it well into Matthews but now barely makes it to Carmax. There's just not much signal left by then. Something is causing a weaker signal to be transmitted.
