2015 Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame

It appears that Joe Chille of WBEN was inducted into the Buffalo Broadcaster's Hall of Fame. It's funny though how one news station reported this as former WJYE host, instead of WBEN host. Well, the former WJYE wasn't bad in the heyday when Joe was there. I guess it got so bad he needed to leave and wait for an opening at WBEN.

This is more information about the event:

Other than the obvious - that the bulk of Joe's career was with WJYE, it could be that Joe Chille doesn't work for WBEN. He produces the program for Senior Radio Buffalo, which purchases airtime on WBEN. It's not even listed on WBEN's website show schedule.

I understand that his career was with WJYE, but he's hosting a show on WBEN whether he works there or not. But I think this happened before the show on WBEN began as seen with a September date in the link added by someone else to the original post.

My God you are so clueless.

Joe was shown the door at WJYE YEARS before he was inducted into the BBHOF and the WBEN show. He wasn't waiting for a WBEN job.

I find it sad and pathetic that his career is being used to fuel a silly agenda.

Seriously, you are in a forum that is mostly populated by experienced radio pros and instead of learning a few things, you instead challenge and confront others, basing your opinions on shallow misguided notions and misinformation.
