Interesting Texas FM situation

Look at this list of applications, I'd be surprised if they aren't all from the same place.

They have a few full-power FM signals, a few translators, and what'd you know-even a couple LPFMS? I thought having more than one LPFM was illegal.
They all have almost the same name in the licensee section, LOL at the number changes for the LPFM stations since more than one LPFM station from the same group isn't allowed. They also have the same engineer and contact rep. I'm not even sure how many are actually on the air. The Archer City station definitely wasn't broadcasting the last time I checked. That's also one of the stations with a certain name in it's app. I'm not sure if these stations are still related to this person or not, but for some history, read this link.

What the heck is up with all the ILLEGAL Spanish Christian radio that never stops?

It looks like they are skirting the rules by having a different Board of Directors for each LPFM "Org.1," Org. 2," "Org. 3," 'Org 4." etc. I'm sure that it is really the same group, but they figured out a loop-hole.

Ha! There's more than that going on with the Temple, Mouse. Been waiting for KRUT-LP to sign on, I can see the tower from my backyard. Work has happened in the last week at the transmit site. Power has apparently been cut to the tower for some reason, as the red beacon on top has gone out, now replaced by a white strobe. Only time I've seen Doctor's Hospital's tower flashing the strobe, was after Hurricane Ike. Don't know what's going on...they're actually planning two LPs for this tower, 94-9 & 101-7. I'll let everyone know once I hear a peep from either.

Probably, the Temple is busy with a few other moves they've recently undertaken. Up in Limestone County, they have recently lit up KPPA-Mexia at 107-9, and jettisoned 101-5 K268BQ up to Wortham. Perhaps the beginnings of another hopper, looking for its lillypad somewhere in Dallas.

I didn't know 107.9 Mexia was them too? It's owned by Iglesia Jesucristo ES Mi Refugio de Mexia Tx, Inc.
I just found it strange how they were using the loophole with different applicant names.

And another thing, there's an LPFM on the air here in San Antonio with Spanish Christian with the audio levels up way too loud. Looks like the same engineer and contact rep on the application as all the others, so I think it's them. Wow they have quite an empire LOL.

Well the last couple I mentioned probably aren't from the same places.
If they do have anything to do with each other it's probably the engineers or representatives.

Different ownership, same programming. They're all intertwined in one way or another, Mouse. Make no mistake about it.

KPPA jn Mexiai is run out of their church in Mexia. There is no feed or satellite coming in from an external source. The automation is Station Playlist and I was there when the misc was loaded it. This church is a connection church in the same manner as the Catholic or methodist systems. No funny business going on at this station.

I don't believe I said any "funny business" was going on, buzz, but they are indeed connected with the Iglesia JesuCristo group that operates in Dallas off of Westmoreland Rd. This, Btw, is the same group that attempted to light up 90.5 just west of Mexia, about 10 years ago. That application was dismissed. If the new KPPA is not running programming from the satellite, are they sharing any programs via stream from church to church? We've got both Templo de Dios and Iglesia JesuCristo facilities here, and they run several of the same minister's programming. That's the connection I referenced.

This is the fccdata.org list of facilities operated under the same "Iglesia JesuCristo es mi Refugio" flag. http://fccdata.org/?facid=&call=&cc...rn=&party=iglesia+jesucristo&party_type=LICEN

This is the list for Templo de Dios: http://fccdata.org/?facid=&call=&cc...US&arn=&party=templo+de+dios&party_type=LICEN

The operation used a consultant named Gual (something like). This guy did bunches of applications. He would not release the info to build the station. When the programming was loaded the music came from the local members bringing in music CDs to be loaded.
the local preacher does lots of programs. I only worked with the Mexia group and everything was according to FCC rules and guidelines..all the way to EAS

I am the one who said funny business as many LPFM and Non Coms are very sleazy and do not worry to much about the rules.
