I tuned into WWKB 1520AM tonight at 9:30 to listen to Let's Talk Native and there was sports on. Normally I go to WHAM at 10 but needed to tune into WTAM 1100 in Cleveland since WHAM also was playing sports.

Let's Talk Native has moved to an internet-only format, for various reasons. You can still listen to the show here, and the audio quality is much better than it was.

Interesting, but not interesting enough to listen if it's not on the radio.

Listening to the once mighty KB these days is depressing. Crappy audio, canned sports and a few local shows on the weekend that pay way too much for their airtime. I'm surprised it's still on the air at all.

I don't mind the audio. I mind the sports. I miss the talk shows.

Some of the better local weekend shows are hosted by some of Entercom sales folks. Maybe their guests pay to be on the show? Then again some of them already have commercials so maybe it's just a bonus? Who knows.

Most people these days wouldn't know decent audio if it slapped them in the face. The liberal talk was OK. Unfortunately, Entercom made sure it killed off WHLD's attempt at doing liberal talk, which was actually mostly local. Who knows if WHLD would have made it had Entercom stayed with the oldies format, or not, but it is a shame that the only dedicated political talk and news outlet here in KBUF territory is the noise generated from two Blaw-Knox towers at the corner of South Parkway and Bush Road on Grand Island.
