I lived through the Little Rock episode but given the clue probably would not have been able to answer it either. The reason? The clue gives equal weight to "1957" and to a presidential library. I'm not sure how many of you track the libraries but they are not much more than legacy monuments so I don't pay them any attention. 1957 could have referred to a number of important events as the 50's were a very active social and political decade.
I was surprised,as well, Usually I can't answer 90 percent of the questions(answers)but this one seemed obvious. A Presidential Library and the year 1957 were very good clues pointing to Little Rock, and the category was State Capitols.Surprising nobody got it right.
Ahhh, that explains the cities given in the wrong answers. Thanks. Still, I always thought Springfield's been a pretty quiet little burg since Honest Abe's days. What happened there in '57?
Did you mean President (William (Bill) Jefferson) Clinton?
The woman who was in third place played it wrong. If the two top people have more than double your money, the thing to do is bet nothing and hope they both bet big and fail. It made no sense for her to also bet everything.
