Paul Kantner, Jefferson Airplane

Another one who fell apart all at once....

http://www.sfgate.com/music/article/Jefferson-Airplane-s-Paul-Kantner-dies-at-74-6791483.php

Heart attack earlier in the week, and then multiple organ failure.

Tough to take, on the heels of Bowie.

These were among the best of their generation, and Bowie's curtain call was mind-blowingly compelling, even despite his untimely blastoff.

Kantner's currently traversing the universe, divested of earthly trappings. He's free.

Bowie just relocated to that new planet they've just discovered, forever on whatever cutting edge he chooses.
