Of course, a channel change to 100-7 accompanies the move-in. This application states 1480 KCHL will feed it, and looks like the new 100-7 will cover a healthy swath of San Antonio from the east side.

It's owned by the same people who own 93-3 and 105-7, which iHeartMedia currently operates.

Problem solved on the potential MX situation. An amendment has been filed today that changes the proposed frequency to 92-1.

Nice, but do you think KNBT might overpower it sometimes? They should go for like 107.9 or 92.3.

I'd say that's a safe bet, but there's really nothing you can do about tropo enhancement. 92-3 wouldn't pass the muster with KRPT next door, and I'd imagine Univision would have a few words to say about trying to light up two doors away from KXTN. Maybe not, though. They remained eerily quiet during K287BQ's proposed move two doors up last week from O&O KAMA-FM, here in Houston. It was the other 2nd adjacent KHCB-FM that filed opposition to the proposal, not Univision.

As for interference to it, yeah, KNBT probably will on occasion, but they'll really need to look out for the co-channel K-Love facility up north of Austin. KYLR Hutto, I think. It's K something LR. There's three of them right there at 92 on the FM dial, all surrounding Austin with K-Love. For a class A, it can really get out up there in the hill country. I've personally heard it sitting in the truck at the house, just south of downtown.

LOL K-Love in Austin won't do anything. KNBT will give this a hard time, and vice versa. I guess there goes Texas country/Americana out of SA...

And it's not moving to the east side it's moving downtown, tower address is 515 South Frio. That is the same tower that K260CC 99.9 and KHDJ 96.5 are moving to in the near future, assuming they build those things out... ;)

Well, yeah. Now. Originally, the application had it just east of Salado Creek, right off of E. Commerce. Very much the "east side" of San Antonio.

I can't help it that it hopped transmit sites, lol...

CARLOS LOPEZ's K221GF is now granted on 92.1... LOL that was fast!
